The Career Service offers numerous courses designed to ease the transition from study to work. How do I design my CV? How do I best present myself in a job interview? How can I improve my application skills in general? These and other questions are addressed in the various courses. Some courses are specifically aimed at graduates from the humanities.
The courses in transferable skills provide key qualifications for future academic and non-university careers. Transferable skills are competences that are acquired in one context and can then be used in different contexts, positions or areas of responsibility. These include project management, writing and rhetoric courses or data analysis and visualisation techniques.
The Centre for University Continuing Education (ZUW) offers various programmes for continuing academic education. The content focuses on the areas of education and research management, evaluation, university didactics and teaching development.
